A dolphin warship capsized in a shallow concrete pond
Dolphins are one of the most intelligent species on the planet, on par with humans. They even have their own languages and call each other by individual names. They can communicate over vast distances using sonar clicks, an ability that is also shared by military submarines. The paint on the dolphin is dazzle camouflage used on warships during World War One and 2. The dolphin is a war ship with turrets for eyes, it is capsizing and listing, sinking and giving off one final message, I am going extinct. The white and black paint of the dolphin leaks from it and pollutes the water turning it grey. The dolphin is melting. It is trapped in a concrete pond like a stone coffin and has been forgotten. The ripples carry the message but the pond is long and the ripples will not reach their target. No one will hear this message, as humanity cannot understand the language of whales.
